Venice Farmer's Market Bilingual Storytime and Craft Program

Be a Maker: StoryWalk® in Centennial Park

“Be a Maker: StoryWalk®” is a family-friendly, outdoor literacy experience hosted in Centennial Park and presented by the Venice Branch Library.
It features “Be a Maker” by Katey Howes, a children’s book celebrating creativity and displayed on sequential signs placed along a gentle walking path through the park. As families stroll, they pause at each station to read a page, blending storytelling with movement.
Meet at the entrance to the Library, and we will walk across the parking lot to Centennial Park. The park is accessible to strollers and wheelchairs. Hats and sunscreen are encouraged.
Dungeons and Dragons Teen Adventure

Announcement: Penmar Rec will be hosting 3v3 tournaments for Rookie, Minor, Major, & Junior divisions ONLY. Club members will converge on the court to showcase their skills, athleticism, and teamwork of 3 v 3 games. It’s all about camaraderie and sportsmanship! Win or lose, every player will walk away with unforgettable memories and newfound friendships.
