Need a pumpkin without turning it into a full day trip? Mr. Jack O’ Lanterns Pumpkin Patch is coming back to West LA for the 2026 fall season, with pumpkins, kid activities and easy-ish access for Venice, Mar Vista, Santa Monica, Playa Vista and Marina del Rey families.

The patch opens Friday, October 2 and runs through Sunday, November 1 at 11404 Santa Monica Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90025. It’s a city-lot-style pumpkin patch, not a farm, which makes it a practical stop for families who want the fall photo + pumpkin experience without heading out to Underwood or beyond.

Expect pumpkins in lots of sizes, colors and shapes, plus enough activities to keep younger kids busy after they pick one out:

The Jack O’ Pass includes unlimited access to the games and activities, one mini pumpkin and one pumpkin-decorating session. Activity availability can change, so it’s smart to check before promising a specific attraction to your kid.

This is probably best for preschoolers and elementary-age kids who want bounce houses, games and a chance to decorate something. Older kids may be more into picking a pumpkin and getting the photos done quickly, which is also totally doable.

Saturday mornings are likely your best bet if you want the widest window before dinner plans kick in. For a lower-key visit, a weekday afternoon could be easier, especially with little kids who don’t need the whole evening production.

Mr. Jack O’ Lanterns is family-owned and has been running seasonal pumpkin patches since 2012. Beyond regular visits, they offer birthday parties, school field trips, private events, bulk pumpkin orders, pumpkin delivery, custom carving and porch displays.
