Starting January 13, 2026, Venice Arts is opening its doors wider for our library teens. Lisa Nena, the Venice Branch Library's absolutely amazing young adult librarian, will be leading FREE art workshops every 2nd and 4th Tuesday from 4–6pm.

When community organizations join forces like this, magic happens. And honestly? We needed some magic after surviving 2025 amirite??

Who: Teens ages 13–18 (yes, that awkward-but-awesome middle-to-high school crowd!)

What: Free art workshops led by Lisa Nena

When: Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday, 4–6pm

Where: Venice Arts (not the library, remember, they're renovating!)

Cost: FREE! (Did we mention it's free? Because it's FREE!)

RSVP Required: Nope! Just show up ready to create

The very first workshop is happening Tuesday, January 13th from 4–6pm, and they're starting with something perfectly timed: Vision Board Making.

New year, new dreams, new artistic expressions of what 2026 could hold. Whether your teen is thinking about college applications, creative projects, or just figuring out who they want to be, this workshop sounds like the perfect place to start visualizing those goals.
